My name is Norman Wood. I have been collecting various things since 1977 when I was 11 and I started picking up car brochures, followed by my first (inert) hand-grenade when I was 12.

I have been married to Heather since 1996 and we live in St Saviour, Jersey with our daughter Alexandra and our son James.

We currently possess the following vehicles: 1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit, 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1984 Land-Rover Series III 109" MoD, 1961 Austin J4 Van, 1939 Austin Eight Saloon, 1952 Dennis F8 Pump Escape Fire Engine, 1986 Honda VF1000F motorcycle, 1984 Yamaha XVZ12 Venture motorcycle and a 2008 Harley-Davidson 883R motorcycle. My wife and I are collectors of many and varied things, primarily uniforms, badges and insignia of the Militia, Police, Fire Brigades etc, also Railways of the Channel Islands.

Over the course of the last 25 years we have built up a collection of over 3000 car brochures, several hundred car badges, a large amount of enamelled lapel badges of local Channel Islands interest, and a massive collection of reference books.

We are also interested in the following:

CI related insignia in the USA - Jersey County, Guernsey Town etc.
Cap Badges - to match 'Wood' medals and Women's services.
Headgear & Uniforms - women's services.
First World War - Helmets, Medals, Firearms, Trench Art etc.
EOD - Including anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, many of which have been acquired from a friend currently working in Afghanistan as an EOD officer (He is also in the process of writing a book on landmines and is seeking a publisher).
Banknotes - Old Channel Island issues and occupation period.
Stamps - Early Victorian and Channel Islands Occupation.
Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Daimler & Austin models - 1:43 scale or similar.
