These buttons were worn by Officers and men of the Royal Jersey Militia between 1830 and 1881. The First, Second, Fourth, Fifth and un-numbered Regiment buttons are silver plated Officers issue and the Third Regiment one is a Pewter Other Ranks.
The gilt button was only in use for one year - 1837.
