These embroidered shoulder title were worn by Jerseymen on their battledress to denote that they came from the Island. Light blue on dark blue was RAF personnel, as was gold on RAF blue, white on green was Army and red on dark blue was Royal Navy personnel.White on red was used during the National Service period.
