MILITIA SWORD
This Pattern 1813 (Mameluke) Officers Sword was carried by an Militia Officer in the Island of Jersey.
The sword crossguard bears the Cypher of Queen Victoria indicating that the sword was carried by an Equerry
to Her Majesty the Queen or to her representative in the Island. The sword was retailed by J. Daniels of Woolwich and is complete
with its 1898 pattern steel and brass scabbard and gold and red cord and knot.
